Please post details of green courses that you run, or you have found, here. Include as much information as possible, including trainer experience/qualifications, insurance, etc.

One post per course, please, and if anyone has any questions, PM or email the poster/course provider, or start a new thread (bear in mind the course provider may not check the What's On area for questions, so a PM/email may be your best bet). We would like to avoid this thread becoming cluttered with replies, comments and discussion. The poster may, of course, edit their post to add further details if everyone is asking them the same question! If you are interested in a course but would like to know whether any other forum members are considering going, please raise the question in a new thread.

If a mod would like to highlight any particular course relevant to their own section, feel free to start a thread about it in that section, where it can be discussed.

Admin and mods will periodically delete out-of-date posts, but if you spot an old one hanging around, do please inform section mods/admin. Admin/mods reserve the right to delete details of any courses they don’t consider relevant.

DISCLAIMER: It is not possible for NHF to vet the courses posted, so please make your own enquiries to ensure that the course provider has appropriate experience/qualifications, insurance, food hygiene certificates, etc. NHF cannot be held responsible for any loss, injury, etc. resulting from attending any of the courses listed here.

Designed Visions/Naturewise Training of Permaculture Teachers Course, London

An innovative and exciting partnership venture between Naturewise and Designed Visions, The ToT will concentrate on permaculture training but the techniques covered can be applied to any other subject and hence the course would be valuable for any teacher wanting to expand their creative teaching techniques. The course will be lively and interactive on all levels using plenty of diversity in teaching styles. We intend to use the course as a working example of how much can be achieved in a 6 day course using accelerated learning techniques. We will be looking at the whole process of running a course – from finding a venue & course publicity to evaluation & follow up.

Hornsey Rise Gardens,
London N19
(seven full days)
13th - 20th September 2009

The new programme of courses at Acton Scott Working Farm has just been released. I have to admit a vested interest 'cos I'm one of the tutors, anyhow, this might be of interest to some.
