It's a birthday gift for someone next week, so if I can't find a second hand one soon I think I'm going to have to go for a new one. They're obviously very popular items because I've trawled all over the place and not been able to find a used one.

Little update on http://www.tfsrcymru.org.uk/toolsforsale.htm. I spoke to Tony Care who responded to the main number shown on their site. He said they are not fully geared up for mail order ie no credit card facility yet but if you ring to confirm stock availability and post cheque, they will send with p&p at cost.. I'm getting the drawknife and billhook for £5 delivery. They prefer to sell secondhand/ recon items viz a viz so customer can see the condition and feel the "heft".

Thanks for that eco. I've ordered one from them...they will make it using a second hand handle and recycled materials.
