I thought i would let you all know about something i have recently done with all my excess carrier bags.i made a pillow case and used the carrier bags to stuff the pillow out, i have fell asleep on it and although it does crunch a little under your head it is surprisingly comfy.
i suppose you could also make a big one for the kids to sit on rather like a large beanbag, (stuffed with carriers of course)
angie.

I like the sound of the large pillow/bean bag thing! Well done you!

The 6 micron supermarket bags would be very crunchy but the thicker 20 micron ones are softer and would be less so, shoe shops seem to like them a lot for instance.
Kid's beanbag seems like a brill idea, unless it's for sitting on while watching a film. Imaging the noise! It'd be like sitting next to a bus-worth of teens with wrapped boiled sweets and multibag packs of crisps!
