I don't know about anyone else, but I prefer to download one large page than two smaller ones, at least up to a point.
Especially as, very often when browsing the "new posts" page there are only a couple of posts on the last page.
I know the number of posts displayed on a page must be adjustable, considering the variety I have experienced on various fora, but are the settings only adjustable at the server end? Or can I do anything at mine?
If (as I suspect) it is only at the server end, can I request that the pages are lengthened a bit?
Or at least a wee survey to see what anyone else prefers.

I can give you my answer now HL ... I actually prefer not to have to scroll down for ages to get to the end of the page. Sorry.

Me too. And that goes for width too, when someone puts in a looooooong link in a post.

I might be wrong but after the last server change was not some of the problems related to page length and, as a consequence, they were made a bit shorter.
